Invitation for Pre-Qualification

Introduction

The Abuja Securities and Commodity Exchange (ASCE), an agency under the Federal Ministry of Commerce and industry hereby invites application for pre-qualification from competent contractors in respect of the Development of Trading Platform for Commodity and Financial Derivatives for Exchange.

A.      Scope of Work

A well communicated Unique Value proposition (UVP) that is broad enough to address a range of market Participants and which will fit the needs of both commodity and Financial Sector entities.

 

B.      Deliverables

(i)      Identification of Commodity and Financial futures contracts relevant to the nation at this present time

(ii)     Formulation of commodity and Financial futures contracts for the near term

(iii)    Development of a pipeline of future products

(iv)    Organized workshops with the key players in the industry.

 

Guidelines for Eligibility

Prospective contractors are required to provide

(i)      Evidence of similar jobs done within the past three (3) years

(ii)     Audited Accounts for the years Evidence of payment of Tax in Nigeria

(iii)    Evidence of Payment of Tax in Nigeria

(iv)    Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission

(v)     Company profile and curricula Vitae of the principal officers of the company

(vi)    Name and address of bankers and reference letter from such bank

(vii)   VAT registration and evidence of past remittance

 

Submissions of Pre-qualification document

The completed pre-qualification document must be forwarded in sealed envelope marked on the top left corner “Confidential”  and boldly written “pre-qualification”  to each;

Please note

1.       An application fee of N20, 000 (Twenty Thousand Naira only) will be paid by successful bidders at the point of collecting Tender documents

 

2.       Only qualified shortlisted companies with similar experience shall be invited for consideration.

 

3.       This advertisement “Invitation for pre-qualification” is neither a commitment on the part of ASCE nor shall it entitle applicants to make any claims whatsoever.

 

4.       The Abuja Securities and Commodity Exchange Plc. Reserves the right to reject any tender in whole or in part.
