“Expression of Interest” for years 2012 Training Programme
The Office of Establishments & Training with the vision “to be the leading Government agency, reputable for providing an enabling and progressive environment for the development of a result-oriented public service,” intends to engage the services of component Training Consultants who will provide Learning and Development services delivery:
- Health
- Education
- Justice and Public order
- General Public Service (Governance, Economic Planning & Budget Issues)
- Establishments & Training issues. Science & Technology, Information & Media Relations and Financial Management
- Economic Affairs (Agriculture & Cooperatives, Commerce & Industry Works & infrastructure and Transportation)
- Recreation Culture, Youth & Sports and Social Development
- Housing, Urban & Land MANAGEMENT Issues, Physical Planning and Rural Development
- Environmental Protection (Environmental Services Drainage Services,
- Waste Management and Water Services)
- Women and Poverty Alleviation
2. Areas of focus will include but not limited to the following:
a Specialized/Technical Programme
- Medication Compliance and Patients Adherence etc.
- Designing and use of improved instructional materials, etc.
- Public Policy analysis and Management Workshops etc.
- Strategic Human Resources Management in the Public Service etc.
- Job Analysis and Job Description for Effective Administration etc.
- Public Private Partnership etc
- Change Management for enhanced productivity etc.
- Re- Branding as a weapon to create new virtue in workers attitude etc.
- Managing the Procurement Function etc.
- Project Monitoring and Inspection Course for Engineers etc.
- Human Resources and information Management etc.
- Courses on Renewable Energy etc.
- Environmental Planning & Control etc.
- Employment generation and Entrepreneurial skills etc.
b. Generic/Cross Cutting Programme
Such Courses will include but not limited to the following
Public Sector leadership coaching and mentoring
Performance Management in the Public Sector
Knowledge Management
Industrial Relations & Conflict Management
Speechwriting. Public Speaking and Presentation skills
Public Finance
Monitoring and Evaluation/ Impact Assessment
Stakeholder Management and Communication with the Public
Corporate and Social Responsibility
Pre-retirement and Managing Post Service
Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
3 Criteria for Evaluation of Pre-qualification Documents
In line with the needs highlighted above, prospective Consultants/Consultancy firms are required to submit the following documents along with their proposals in soft and hard copies:
(i) Company Profile
(ii) Accreditation with relevant Professional Bodies/ Association e.g. Centre for Management Development (CMD)
(iii) Evidence of registration of Company or Business name with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
(iv) Evidence of Current Tax Clearance Certificates covering the past three (3)years(2009,2010.2011)
(v) Documented evidence of similar assignments executed in relevant areas with
verifiable contact for references
(vi) Evidence of a minimum of five(5) years relevant experience in Learning and Development
(vii) Faculty curriculum vitae with evidence of relevant experience and
Competencies
(viii) Evidence of payment of Tender fee of N25,000.00 (Twenty five Thousand Naira) only. Please pay into Skye Bank. 4. Currently Engaged Consultants
This Advertisement also serves as a request for renewal of registration of services by all Consultancy firms who have offered or are currently offering their services on various programmes for the Ministry.
5. Caution:
Proposals should be strictly in area of core competence
Late Submission will be disqualified
