Expression of Interest for the Provision of Insurance Services
1.0 The National Hospital, Abuja invites interested and reputable Insurance Companies for Expression of Interest in the various Insurances (General and Life) for its facilities and employees for the period of 2011/2012.
2.0 Pre-Qualification Requirements:
Interested Companies are required to submit the following requirements with their written application:
- Evidence of Registration with the Corporate Affairs Commissions (CAC)
- Evidence of Licence to carry out business as an Insurer from National Insurance Commission
- Evidence of Recapitalization from National Insurance Commission
- Corporate Profile of the Company
- Evidence of Previous Engagement
- Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for last three (3) years
- Audited Accounts, in the last three (3) years
- Evidence of Re-insurance Treaties
- Evidence of Employees Retirement Savings Accounts (RSA)
3.0 Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents:
3.1 All applications with relevant documents are to be submitted in a sealed 15” x 9.5” envelope marked appropriately at the left hand corner e.g. “Pre-Qualification for Insurance Services” and addressed to:

and to reach him on or before 10:00 am, on 20th May 2011. The envelopes containing the Pre-Qualification documents shall be open on the same day at 12 Noon at the Boardroom, National Hospital, Abuja and representatives of interested Companies and the general public are invited to witness the exercise.
3.2 Please note that only Companies that are successful in qualification exercise shall be invited to tender for the relevant project(s) which shall attract appropriate fee.
3.3 The National Hospital, Abuja is however not obliged to give reason(s) for any unsuccessful application.
