Invitation for Bids

The Federal Science and Technical College, Jalingo intends to carry out the under listed Capital Projects for 2010.

Bid documents for 2010 Capital projects are ready; therefore interested contractors are invited to purchase tender documents and bid for the following jobs:

Lot 1: Construction of Administrative Block.

Lot 2: Construction of Blocklaying & Concreting Workshop/Equipment.

Lot 3: Construction of Motor Vehicle Mechanic Workshop/Equipment.

Lot 4: Construction of General Metal Workshop/Equipment.

Lot 5: Construction of Electrical installation Workshop/Equipment.

Lot 6: Construction of Plumbing & Fitting Workshop/Equipment.

Lot 7: Construction of IPU Showroom Workshop/Equipment and Offices.

Lot 8: Construction of Dining Hall/Kitchen.

Requirement for Tendering:

1. Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs with Commission (CAC).
2. Tax Clearance Receipt Certificate for the last three (3) years.
3. VAT Certificate.
4. Evidence of Pension Fund Contribution.
5. Company Profile including qualification and individual experience of key staff.
6. Evidence of similar jobs executed by your company.
7. Evidence of financial capability and Banking support.

Collection of Tender Documents:

1. Interested companies are to collect Tender documents from the college accounts Department after payment of a non-refundable sum of Twenty Thousand naira only (N20, 000.00) per Lot in bank draft addressed to ‘Federal Science and Technical College, Jalingo’.
2. Tender document collection commences at 8:00am on Monday, 25^th October, 2010 and close at 4:00pm on Monday, 15^th November, 2010.
3. Collection/Submission of Tender documents shall be done from 8:00am to 4:00pm on all working days within specified period.

Submission of Bids:

1. Each Bid documents should be sealed and labeled ‘Technical’ and ‘Financial’ Bids separately as appropriate.
2. Both Technical and Financial Bids should be submitted at the College ICT Center between 8:00am to 4:00pm on every working day.
3. Bids submission closes at 4:00pm on Monday, 15^th November, 2010.

Bids Opening

1. Bids will be opened at 2: 30pm on Tuesday, 16^th November, 2010.
2. All prospective Contractors or their accredited representative should endeavor to be present please.
