Invitation to Participate in the Tendering Exercise for Various Projects in For 2010 Statutory Budget For The Aso Television Services.
- The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA). through ASO Television Services has provision in the FCT 2010 statutory Budget in the under listed procurement and is hereby inviting competent and interested Companies to submit Technical and Financial bids for the following as specify in the scope of work.
- B. Scope of Work
- Construction of New Office complex
- Construction of Transmitter Building
- Provision of Cooling Systems for New Office Complex
- Furnishing of Studio and Transmitter Buildings
- Provision of Fire Service Equipment
C. Technical (Prequalification) Requirements
- Interested companies must forward copies of the following documents and the originals to be made available for sighting during the tender opening.
- Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and Articles of Memorandum of Association.
- Evidence of Tax Payment E-ticket and Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years expiring December 2010.
- List of verifiable documentary evidence of similar jobs successfully executed within the last three years
- Current Bank Reference and statement of Account for the last 12 months.
- Letter of Authority to authorize FCT Administration to cross check the Account.
- Interested Companies should have up to date annual returns with CAC and be informed that due diligence could be conducted.
- Sworn Affidavit in line with the provision of part IV, section 16, subsection 6 (e & f) of the Public Procurement Act, 2007.
- Evidence of Pension Registration and remittance of Pension Contribution by the Company as provided for in Section 16. Subsection (B d) of the Public Procurement Act 2007.
- Comprehensive Company profile including. Name, Address, Telephone, Fax Numbers and E-mail address.
- X. Financial capability and Audited account for the last three years duly endorse by a firm of Chartered Accountant
- Lists of key staff and evidence of professional qualification.
Collection of tender Documents
Interested Companies should collect tender, document for the projects from the office of the General Manager, ASO Television Services, Katampe Hill- Abuja, upon the presentation of evidence of payment per each tender of N 10,000.00 (Ten thousand Naira only) non-refundable Tender Fees into FCT Treasury Revenue Account at Fidelity Bank (Central Area) Account No. 051503010000426.
Submission
The Technical and Tender (Financial bid) documents should for each be scaled and labeled (Technical or Financial bids as appropriate) separately, and the two envelopes be put in another envelope that should be sealed and label as (Indicating the Project Title) – The financial documents (Financial bid) should be submitted in three (3) copies (one original and two other copies) and all pages are to be duly endorsed by bidder. The document should be submitted to: Secretary, FCT Tenders Board, (former Public Building Office), Room 043, Area 11 Garki Abuja, not later than 10.00am,28th January, 2011
The representatives of the bidding companies are invited to witness the opening of the Tenders on the same day at Room G9 Tenders Board Office, FCT Archives and History Bureau, No. 5, Peace Drive, beside AGIS Area 11, Garki Abuja, by 12.00PM.
Note:
I. Interested Members of the general public, especially the Civil society organization are invited to attend the opening exercise. They are to abide by the Code of Conduct for procurement observers issued by the Bureau of Public procurement.
II. Company representatives are to come along with a letter of Introduction, indicating Name, Rank and sample Signature to the opening exercise.
III. FCTA is not bound to accept the lowest bid or any other tender.
