INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION AND TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY OF ITEMS AND EXECUTION OF 2010 IN-HOUSE CAPITAL

PROJECTS FOR NIGERIAN DEFENCE ACADEMY, KADUNA

A.    PREAMBLE

1. The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) is desirous to supply items, execute construction and renovation projects as her in-house capital project for year 2010. In line with the Federal Government procurement Act 2007, interested and reputable contractors and suppliers with relevant experience and evidence of performance are invited to submit both technical and financial bids in line with the defined scope and technical specification for the projects.

PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT

Reputable and interested constructors and suppliers are required to submit their application with the following documents:-

1. Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
2. Tax clearance Certificate for the last three years.
3. VAT Certificate/Evidence of Remittance for the last three years.
4. Company profile, Organizational Structure, Article and Memorandum of Association and a list of professional staff including their resume.
5. Company 3 years audited account report.
6. Evidence of financial capacity from a reputable bank.
7. Verification evidence of execution of similar projects/procurement, the contract sums, including copies of letters of award and completion certificate; and other works experience.
8. Description and list of equipment owned by the contractor/supplier (where applicable).
9. Any addition information that will enhance the potential of the contractor/supplier.

COLLECTION AND SUBMISSION OF PRE-QUALIFICATION AND TENDER DOCUMENTS

Tender documents are to be collected from the Directorate of Logistics NDA Headquarters on payment of the non-refundable tender fees as follows:

Submission of bids should be in 2 separate envelops, sealed and clearly marked as TECHNICAL and FINANCIAL indicating the Lot. This is to be deposited in the Tenders Box located in the Directorate of Logistics NDA Headquarters Airport Road, Mando. Kaduna. Collection of tender documents commences on 14 June2010 and return of the completed tender documents closes on or before  12   Noon 25th June 2010 at the Academy Headquarters.

E.      PUBLIC OPENING OF BIDS

The Nigerian Defence Academy procurement planning committee will analyze and pre-qualify all the technical Bids submitted by 1200 noon  on 28th June 2010.Thereafter, successful contractors or their representatives shortlisted from the technical Bid Evaluation shall be invited to witness the public opening of the financial Bids by 10.00am on 7th July 2010 at the Directorate of Logistics NDA Headquarters, Kaduna.
