Invitation for Pre-Qualification if Contractors/Suppliers
In compliance with the due process requirements of Federal Government of Nigeria, Niger state Polytechnic, Zungeru hereby invites suitable qualified and interested contractors and suppliers with proven competence and experience to apply for pre-qualification for the execution of the merged 2009/2010 EDUCATION TRUST FUND (ETF) intervention projects listed below.
1) Lot I: Construction of 1 No, 800 Seater Lecturer Theater Auditorium.
2) Lot II: Provision of 800 No.s folded seats for Lecture Theater Auditorium
3) Lot III: Construction of 1 No. Block of Academic staff offices.
4) Lot IV: Provision of Furniture for Academic staff offices.
5) Lot V: Provision of classroom furniture
6) Lot VI: Procurement and Installation of 350KVA Generating set.
7) Lot VII:
A) Procurement and Installation of Electrical/Electronics and Engineering Technological Equipment.
B) Procurement and Installation of Mechanical Engineering Technology Equipment.
8) Lot VIII: Procurement and Installation of ND Office Technology Management equipment.
Pre-Qualification Criteria
2. to prequalify for consideration, interested contractors/suppliers are required to submit the following verifiable documents;
1) Incorporation/Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
2) Company VAT Registration Certificate for the last three (3) years.
3) Current Tax Clearance Certificate in the last three (3) years
4) A letter of ability to perform from your Banker(s)
5) Evidence of relevant plants and equipment
6) Company profile including name and qualifications
7) Evidence of Registration with Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru.
8) Evidence of similar projects earlier handled
9) Office Residency
10) Evidence of Company Audited account for three (3) years
3. Pre-qualification/Suppliers would obtained details of the job specification from the works Department after the presentation of receipts of payments of non-refundable tender fee of Forth Thousand Naira (40, 000.00) for Lots I, III, VII (a) and (b), and VIII, Twenty Thousand Naira (20, 000.00) for Lots II, V and VI, and Ten Thousand Naira (10, 000.00) for lot IV.
4. The application must be sealed and clearly marked envelops stating clearly the project of interest and addressed to the Secretary Tenders Committee, Niger State Polytechnic, P.M.B 01 Zungeru, not later than 12:00noon, Wednesday 2nd March, 2011.
5. The Polytechnic management reserve the right to reject any tender that does not comply with the requirements and is not bund to accept the lowest tender.
6. Submitted documents will be opened at 12:00noon on Monday, 7th March 2011 at the Council Chambers of the Polytechnic, Zungeru.
