Invitation for pre-qualification of 2010/2011 (Merged) Tertiary Education Trust Fund and Intervention in Library Development
1.0 Introduction
Federal College of Education, Okene intends to undertake pre-qualification exercise for the under listed year 2010/2011 (merged) Tertiary Education Trust Fund Intervention in Library Development.
1.1 Interested and reputable contractors are hereby invited to forward their documents for the purpose of Pre-Qualification for the under listed Projects:
1.2 Year 2010/2011 Tertiary Education Trust Fund Projects
a. Procurement of Library books and Journals
b. Upgrade of the E-Library
2.0 Pre-Qualification and Requirements
Prospective Contractors shall be required to submit the following ore-qualification documents:
2.1 Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
2.2 Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years
2.3 Evidence of VAT Registration and Remittances with TIN No
2.4 Evidence of company’s audited account for three (3) years and its annual turnover
2.5 Evidence of compliance with Pension Reform Act 2004
2.6 Evidence of similar projects successfully completed with their location (copies of letters of award attached)
2.7 Evidence of Financial Capability and Bank Support (Attach Bank reference, Statement of Account etc)
2.8 Company Profile
2.9 Evidence of ITF Training contribution in compliance with the statutory provision of section 6(i) – (iii) of the ITF amended act of 2011.
3.0 Verification of Claims
Please note that Federal College of Education, Okene reserves the right to verify the claims made in the pre-qualification documents submitted by interested contractors.
4.0 Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents
4.1 Pre-qualification documents shall be neatly packaged in a sealed envelope marked “Pre- Qualification for Year 2010/2011 Tertiary Education Trust Fund Library Project” (indicate specific project) at the top left hand corner of the envelope to the undersigned and submitted on or before 26th November 2012 by 12.00 noon.
4.2 Pre-qualification document shall be publicly opened immediately the same day, in the College Boardroom. Contractors who wish to attend are advised to be seated by 12:00 noon for the opening exercise.

1.0 An advert for invitation to pre-qualification placed in this paper on October 1, 2012 refers
1.1 Interested companies should also submit evidence of PENCOM Registration and Remittance on or before 19th November 2012.
