Invitation for Technical and Financial Bid for Upgrade of Internet Access and ICT Infrastructure of Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC)
Introduction
The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) is an Agency of the Federal Government of Nigeria mandated to coordinate, encourage, monitor and provide necessary assistance and guidance for investment in Nigeria for both Nigerians and non-Nigerians.
The NIPC Wants to upgrade its internet access and ICT infrastructure at its Head Office located at plot 1181 Aguyi Ironsi Street Maitama, Abuja and five (5) zonal offices at Enugu, Ibadan, Jos, Maiduguri and kano and hereby invites bids from interested bidders.
2. Scope of Works: Supply and installation of :
i. Network Switches
ii. Routers
iii. Networking Accessories
iv. Server Operating System
v. Microsoft Office 2010
vi. Proxy Server
vii. Wireless Access point
viii. Internet Hotspot
ix. Windows Client Operating System
x. Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Scanners, UPS,
xi. IT Tools
xii. Power Extension Boxes
xiii. Electric Projector Screen
3 Pre-Qualification Requirements
Interested Bidders must submit a proposal and documentation of the following (please note that originals may be required for sighting on request by NIPC):
- Company profile with details of key management and technical staff
- Certificate of incorporation
- VAT Registration Certificate
- Current Tax Clearance Certificate
- Bank Reference
- Evidence of execution of similar job/job completion certificate
- Registration with professional bodies
- Evidence of compliance with Pension Act 2004
- Evidence of Compliance with ITF Act
- Evidence of Compliance with NHIS Act
- Evidence of Compliance with NSITF Act.
Submission of any other relevant additional information that will enhance the confidence of NIPC into working with the Bidder.
4 Collection of Bid Documents.
Technical and Financial Bids can be collected from room B010, Block B, after the payment of One Hundred Thousand Naira (N100, 000.00) in Bank draft, payable to: Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission, Abuja.
Completed Technical and Financial Bid shall be submitted separately in sealed envelopes in three (3) hard copies. The envelopes must be properly labelled
“Technical /Financial Bid for upgrade of Internet Access/ICT Infrastructure”

To reach him before 12:00 noon on 13th November, 2012
Submissions will be opened in the presence of Bidders or their accredited representatives on the same day at 2p.m in the Board Room (block A) of the NIPC. Non representation automatically disqualifies such submission.
Submissions will be studied within a week.
Please note that the Bidder is fully responsible for all site investigations and other preliminary requirements. The NIPC also reserves the right to reject any or all submissions, and may not enter into any correspondence with any Participant.
