Invitation for Technical and Financial Tender for the Execution of 2012 Capital Projects
The National Centre for Agricultural Mechanization (NCAM) is desirous to undertake a Technical and Financial Bid exercise for its 2012-Capital Projects. Accordingly, NCAM is inviting competent and interested contractors to indicate interest to bid for the following jobs:
1. Projects
Civil Works and Goods
LOT1: Construction of Road Network
LOT2: Furnishing of Trainee Hostel and Conference Centre
LOTS: Furnishing of Library Block
LOT4: Procurement and Installation of Rice Mills (A sample must be delivered to NCAM for testing and evaluation)
LOT 5: Procurement and Installation of Destoners (A sample must be delivered to NCAM for testing and evaluation)
Qualification Criteria and Tender Requirements
Interested reputable contractors with relevant cognate experience and good track record of performance are hereby invited to submit tender/bid documents accompanied with the following:
I. Certificate of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC);
II. Evidence of compliance with Pensions Act, including evidence of remittances;
III. Evidence of Technical Capability and List of equipment (where applicable);
IV. Evidence of Tax Clearance for the last three years (2009, 2010, 2011);
V. Company’s Audited Accounts for the last three years (2009) 2010, 2011) showing annual turnover;
VI. Evidence of VAT registration and remittances;
VII. Evidence of Experience with similar jobs in the last five years including letters of award of contracts, contract sum(s), and completion certificates;
VIII. Evidence of Financial Capability and banking support;
IX. Company profile with CVs of key personnel and their professional qualifications;
X. Evidence of Registration with Federal Ministry of Works(For civil works only);
XI Verifiable Office Address and Phone Numbers;
XII. Bidders for road construction work must be registered with COREN;
XIII. Evidence of payment of non- refundable tender fee of N20, 000.00k for lots 1 -3and N40, 000.00k for lots 4 and 5 in favour of National Centre for Agricultural Mechanization (NCAM).
3. Collection of Tender Documents
Qualified companies shall on application collect tender documents from the office of:

National Centre for Agricultural Mechanization (NCAM),
Ilorin.
4. Submission of Tender Documents
The completed tender documents must be submitted in three (3) copies each; including one (1) original and two (2) copies in 2 separate sealed envelopes clearly marked “Technical” and “Financial” and both sealed in a third envelope marked with the appropriate project title and lot number at the top right hand corner and delivered to the address below not later than 12 noon on Tuesday 28th August, 2012.

5. Opening of Bids
Technical bids will be opened at 1:00pm on the same date at the Theatre hall of the National Centre for Agricultural Mechanization (NCAM), Ilorin, after the close of the submission date and only qualified bidders and relevant professional organizations will be invited to witness the public opening Of the financial bids documents.
