Invitation to Tender
The National Council for Arts and Culture, Abuja is desirous of undertaking the execution of its capital projects as contained in year 2012 capital budget. In view of the above, the office is inviting competent and reputable companies consultants/contractors to tender for the following jobs.
2. Description of Work:
Lot I: Development National Research Centre on Boat Regatta in Uyo, Akwa-Ibom state.
Lot II: Developments of Crafts Centres (A) Ikare, (B) Kano and (c) Sokoto.
Lot III: Development of National Research Centre on Durbar Traditions in Kaduna.
Lot IV: Development of National Research Centre on Masquerade Traditions in Enugu.
Lot V: Development of National Centre for Arts, Culture and Tourism,
FCT Abuja.
Lot VI: Development Process of Nollywood Cultural Film Village, Anambra
Lot VII: Construction of National Centre for Cultural Integration, Sokoto
Lot VIII: Construction of Oriental Cultural Centre, Imo
Lot IX: Construction of National Cultural Centre, Yobe
Lot X: Construction of Cultural Palace, Igbiri Polo, Rivers
Lot XI: Construction of Otukpo Cultural Palace, Benue
Lot XII: Construction of National Centre for Cultural Acquisition Aninri, Enugu Lot XIII: Construction of Isolo Community Cultural Centre Isolo, Lagos
3. Tender Requirements
Interested contractors are required to submit the following Tender documents:
- Evidence of company registration with Corporate Affairs Commission.
- Company Audited Account for three (3)years.
- Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for three (3) years.
- Evidence of Financial Capabilities and Banking Support.
- Experience/Technical qualification of key personnel.
- List of similar project executed and evidence of knowledge of the industry.
- VAT registration and Evidence of past VAT remittances.
- Equipment deployment and equipment/technology capacity.
- Evidence of compliance with the Pension Act of 2007.
4. Submission of Tender Documents/Instructions
Interested Tenderers are to obtain Tender documents after the payment of Tender fee of Ten Thousand (N10,000) from the NCAC office, Plot 1370 Ukpo Close, Off Oro ago Crescent Off Muhammad Buhari Way, (by Old CBN) Garki II District, Abuja on or before 6th August 2012. Opening by 2pm on the closing date i.e. 6th August, 2012.
4.1 For each lot, interested Tenderers are to submit Technical and Financial Bids
in separate envelopes. The Lot/Reference number whether Technical or Financial Bid should be indicated on the left hand corner of each envelop; and addressed to: Executive Director/CEO, National Council for Arts and Culture Plot 1370 Ukpo Close, Off Oro ago Crescent Off Muhammad Buhari Way, (by Old CBN) Garki II District, Abuja. Any envelope not containing the required information will be rejected.
5. Additional Information:-
i. Tender information and instruction shall be given only to contractors that have been screened and found suitable to provide the services.
ii. Late submission of Tender documents will be rejected.
iii. The Advertisement shall not be considered as commitment on the part of the National Council for Arts and Culture nor shall it entitle potential companies to make any claim whatsoever and/or seek any indemnity from the National Council for Arts and Culture by virtue of such company having responded to the advertisement.
