Open Invitation for Pre-Qualification and Tender Execution of 2012 Capital Projects
(A) The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro hereby invites competent and reputable contractors for the submission of expression of interest in the execution of the under listed approved Projects under the 2012 Capital projects.
The Projects are:
i. Rehabilitation of Academic Building
ii. Furnishing of Classroom and staff offices
iii. Purchase and Supply of Laboratory Equipment for School of Applied
Science and School of Engineering
iv. Construction of Studio and Workshop for School of Environmental Studies
(B) Pre-Qualification Requirements
1. Evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission
2. Tax clearance for the past three (3) years
3. Registration with the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing
4. Audited Annual Financial Report of the Company for the past three (3) years
5. Verifiable list of similar and other jobs successfully executed to completion by the Company
6. List of projects (under construction) currently undertaken by the company (including contract value and period)
7. List of key personnel with qualification and experience
8. List of equipment and technical capacity
9. Evidence of VAT Registration and certificate
10. Evidence of financial capabilities and Bank Support (Bank Reference) and
11. Any other document that may complement the tender
(C) Submission of Pre-Qualification and Collection Offender Documents
The Pre-qualification Documents must be accompanied with an evidence of payment of Five Thousand Naira (N5, 000.00) payable to the Federal payable to the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro. The Pre-qualification documents must be submitted in a sealed envelope and marked at the top left hand corner “Pre-qualification for…” (the chosen project) and to reach the address below on or before 25th June 2012.
N. B: Only Pre-qualified bidders will be invited to tender for the project and no correspondence shall be exchanged with unsuccessful applicants.
The advertisement of invitation for pre-qualification should not be considered as a commitment on the part of this Polytechnic nor shall it entitle contractor to make any claims whatsoever and or seek any indemnity from the Polytechnic. It is also not an invitation to bid.
All those interested should be available at the Board room West Campus of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro by 12.00 noon for the opening of pre-qualification documents on Monday 25th June, 2012
Pre-qualified bidders shall be required to procure bidding documents with the sum of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000.00) only after the pre-qualification exercise from the office of the Director of Works and Services. Completed Tender/Bidding documents shall be returned to the Registrar, Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, on or before Monday 9th July 2012 by 12.00 noon on Monday 9th July, 2012.
(D) Opening of Tender/Bidding Documents
All submitted tender/bidding documents shall be opened on Monday 9th July, 2012 at the Polytechnic Boardroom, West Campus by 12.00 noon in the presence of all bidders or their
