Invitation for Pre-Qualification for the 2012 Capital Projects as an Addendum to earlier Publication
Introduction:
As an addendum to the earlier publication in two National Dailies, the National Directorate of Employment is inviting competent and reputable contractors to submit pre-qualification documents as pre-requisite to tender for the following projects:
LOTN: The NDE intends to go into Public Private Partnership with a competent Contractor to carry out Specialized Training on Mobile Payment Employment Scheme in line with the cash-less policy of the Central Bank of Nigeria, which is geared towards employment and training of youths. The Company must possess the following:
i) Evidence of available support of Margento Point of Sale (POS) Terminals in Nigeria
ii) Pictures of Kiosk sample in coloured print
iii) Security Solution for the Kiosk and POS Terminal Equipment
iv) Evidence of Licence by Central Bank of Nigeria to operate as Mobile Money and Electronic Payment Agent.
Lot O: Procurement of Solar Energy Resettlement Tools and Equipment.
Lot P: Purchase and Installation of Groundnut Processing Machines and
Facilities.
Lot Q: Construction/Establishment of Agricultural Skills Training Centre
(ASTC).
Lot R: Purchase and Installation of Multi Crop Processing Machines.
Lot S: Design and Deployment of Robust Website to link State and Zonal
Offices of the NDE and Worldwide.
Lot T: Electrical Works.
Pre-Qualification Requirements
Application for pre-qualification should be accompanied with the following:
i) Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
ii) Evidence of Technical Competence and years of Experience
iii) Evidence of Registration with Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria
iv) Tax Clearances Certificate for the last three (3) years (2009, 2010 & 2011) and Tax Identification Number (TIN)
v) Verifiable list of similar and other jobs executed in the past
vi) Evidence of Registration with Pension Commission
vii) Detail of Company profile
viii) Letter of Recommendation from the Company’s Bankers indicating the financial capacity of the Company to undertake the job if awarded.
ix) Evidence of Registration with Industrial Training Fund.
x) Evidence of Registration with LECAN
Failure to submit ANY of the listed documents may result in disqualification
Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents
The pre-qualification document should be sealed in brown envelope, marked on the top left hand corner “Confidential Pre-Qualification” (Indicating boldly the category and title of the project in the space provided) and address to:

Please note that:
i) The above procedures must be followed strictly for your submission to be processed
ii) This is not an invitation to tender for the job
iii) Only qualified companies shall be shortlisted and invited to tender for the job on payment of prescribed tender fees.
