Invitation to Tender

1.       Introduction

The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, is a Parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Health. In accordance with the provisions of Public Procurement Act, 2007, the Council hereby invites Contractors to tender for the Construction of standard Steel water tanks for an existing Borehole at the Council’s permanent site, Abuja.(Reticulation of Water Bore Hole) as follows;

• Construction of one Steel Tank of Standard Size 3.66m x 2.44m of 21.821 Litres Capacity as a Ground Tank.
• One Cover, Water Level Indicator size 2.44m deep.
• One External Ladder Size 2.44m high.
• Erect tank and Cover in a watertight Condition in floor Platform.
• Erect one Steel Tower Structure of 15m high to hold Steel Tank of 3.66m x 2.44m x 1 .22m of 10.91 0 litres Capacity.
• Steel Tower fitted with complete Catwalk of 91 cm, hand railing and 91cm operating Platform.

2.       Tender Requirements

Interested Companies/agents and Contractors are to submit their Tender with the following documents;

1. Evidence of Registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
2. Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years.
3. VAT Registration Certificate and evidence of past VAT remittance,
4. Evidence of similar supplies/Contracts executed in the last 3 years.
5. Evidence of financial capability and Bank Support.
6. Company and Consultants profile,
7. Evidence of Payment of Tender fee of Twenty Thousand (N20.000) Naira to the Nursing and Midwifery Council e-payment account at FIRST BANK OF NIGERIA PLC, Account Number 20141 79152.

3.    Submission of Tender Documents

Tender and Financial Bid documents should be Enveloped, Sealed, waxed separately and addressed to,

Life Camp,

Abuja.

All sealed Documents should be Hand delivered by authorized representative of the company to the Office of the Head of Procurement (Room 9), NOT later than 12:00 noon on 16^th April, 2012.

Opening of Tender Documents

All Tender Documents will be publically opened at

Abuja.
