Invitation to Bid
Bauchi State is one of the four selected states in Nigeria benefiting from the DFID supported Sanitation Hygiene and Water in Nigeria (SHAWM) Project.
This project aims at improving access to safe means of excreta disposal, adoption of key safe hygiene practices, and ensuring people consume safe water year round in all rural communities of the three (3) selected projects LGAs in Bauchi State.
In line with the above stated project objective, the Bauchi State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA) is seeking to engage UNICEF ‘D’ Field Office pre-qualified drilling and civil engineering firms to construct water supply facilities in rural communities of Dass, Gamawa and Warji LGAs of Bauchi State.
Accordingly, UNICEF ‘D’ -Field Office pre – qualified drilling contractors are invited to obtain bid documents from the office of the General Manager, Bauchi State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA), Dass Road, Bauchi, Bauchi State, at a non – refundable fee of ten thousand Naira (N10,000:00) only. Completed bids are to be submitted in sealed envelopes, to the office of the General Manager, Bauchi State RUWASSA in Bauchi on or before 13th March 2012.
Bids shall subsequently be opened a day after the expiration of the deadline, and bidders and members of the general public are invited to witness the bid opening.
