Invitation for Pre-Qualification/Tender for Year 2012 Capital Projects in Post Primary Institutions in the State.
The Ministry of Education – Borno State hereby invites tender from suitably qualified companies or firms for pre-qualification/tender. Interested firms are to indicate interest as per the projects below; located in the three senatorial districts of the state.
1. Rehabilitation and Construction of educational buildings in post primary institutions in the three senatorial district in Borno State for the 2012 capital projects.
2. Rehabilitation and Construction of educational buildings in Seven (7) Secondary Schools thus:
a) Government Collage Maiduguri
b) Yerwa Government Girls Secondary School Maiduguri
c) Government Secondary School Gajiganna
d) Government Girls Secondary School
e) Government Girls Secondary School Mirnga
f) Government Girls Secondary School Lassa
g) Government Secondary School Kumshe
3. Procurement of instructional material for post primary institutions across the State
4. Procurement of Beds and Beddings for Boarding Schools in the State
5. Procurement of Classroom/ Laboratory furniture
6. Procurement of assorted textbooks in core subject areas
7. Procurement of Chemicals, Reagents/Technical equipment
PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Interested companies are to submit the following documents for pre-qualification and tender
i. Incorporation registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
ii. Evidence of registration with Borno State Government as a Contractor and Ministry of Education.
iii. Tax clearance certificate for last 3 years.
iv. Company VAT Registration Certificate.
v. Company profile and qualifications of some key officers of the organization.
vi. A Letter of ability of perform from your bankers.
vii. Evidence of similar job executed e.g. certificate of practical completion of projects undertaken.
NB: You are to come alone with your original copies of all documents attached for verification.
METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Interested companies are to submit pre-qualification documents: and if interested to tender, you can collect tender documents on payments of Twenty-five thousand naira (N25,000) non refundable fees and Twenty-five thousand naira (N25, 000) for registration with Ministry of Education as a contractor from the secretary Ministerial Tender Board, (Direct Planning Research and Statistics Ministry of Education).
Returns of documents: to be made to secretary ministerial Tenders Board, marked on the right hand top corner pre-qualification documents OR tender documents in sealed envelopes. Address to Honorable Commissioner Ministry of Education Headquarters Borno State. On or before 29th February 2012.
