Tender Opportunity for the Charter and Operation of 1No Line Handling Vessel
Introduction
Nigerian Agip Oil Company Limited (NAOC) intends to award a contract for the charter and operation of one Line Handling Vessel.
The work location shall be Nigeria Agip Oil Company (Nigeria) Limited Swamp and Deep Offshore locations,
The proposed contract shall have duration of five (5) years effective from the date of supply and acceptance
2. Scope Of Work
The scope of work shall be the charter and operation of one Line Handling Vessel for offshore operations, mooring the oil tankers at SBN buoy.
Intending bidders are to note that only vessels built within the years listed in the technical specification below are acceptable.

Mandatory Requirements
a) To be eligible for this tender exercise, interested Contractors are required to be pre-qualified in the 3.06.13- Mooring System Services: 3.08.01-Tugs/ROV Support/Diving Support Vessels and 3.08.17- Support Vessels (product /Services) in NipeX joint Qualification System (NJQS) database. All successfully pre-qualified suppliers in this category will receive Invitation to technical Tender (ITT).

c) If you are not listed in product/service category but you are registered with DPR to do business, contact NipeX office at 30, Oyinkan Abayomi Street, Ikoyi Lagos with your DPR certificate as evidence for necessary update.
d) To initiate the JQS pre-qualification process, access www.nipexng.com to download application form, make necessary payments and contact Nipex office for further action.

To qualify, tenders must comply with the provisions of the Nigerian Oil and gas industry Content Development ACT, 2010 and CABORTAGE Act and with other requirements in Nipex system.
4. Closing Date
Only tenderers who are registered with NJQS under Product Group 3.06.13 – Mooring System Services; 3.08.01 – Tugs/ROV Support/Diving Support Vessels and 3.08,17 – Supply Vessels as on 29th March 2011, being the advert closing date, shall be invited to submit Technical Bids.
