The Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria was established by the Act number 16 of 2007 charged with the responsibility, amongst others, to determine the standard of knowledge and skill to he attained by persons seeking to he registered freight forwarders as well as to regulate and control the practice of freight forwarding in Nigeria.
The council has received a budget from the Federal Government for the developments of infrastructure that will enable it achieve its targets and objectives.
The Council hereby invites interested professional chartered accountants and audit firms to express their mutest to be assigned External Auditing of the Accounts and Financial Statements of the CRFFN.
Eligibility for Consideration
Interested Professional Chartered Accountants and Audit Firms should submit their applications with the followings:
- Evidence of registration or incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
- Evidence of Registration and lip to date renewal with the Office of the Auditor General of the Federation.
- Profile of the firm including details of all partners and key staff, their competences, expertise and experience.
- Payment of non-refundable Expression of interest of N20, 000.00 (Twenty Thousand Naira) only in Bank draft or CRFFN Receipt payable to the Council.
- Details of previous similar jobs undertaken with evidence such as letter of engagement.
- Managing Partner should not have less than 15 years experience.
- Must have offices in Lagos and Abuja.
The application in (3) copies should each be sealed, labeled and all pages dully endorsed by an authorized Principal Officer of the Firm. The document is to be dropped in: Office of the Registrar/CEO, Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria, 51, Khartoum Street, Wuse Zone Abuja, on or before 12 noon on Friday, 31st December, 2010.
