Invitation to Tender for Provision of Storage Spaces

Society for Family Health was founded in 1985 and is a foremost Non-Governmental Organization(NGO) that supports Nigerian governments’ public health interventions in three key areas: HIV/AIDS prevention, family planning and maternal & child health (malaria and diarrhoea control). The Society for Family Health invites bids from prospective qualified organizations that will provide suitable storage space out of twenty one (21) locations for finished pharmaceutical and health products.

Interested organizations are requested to send proposals and bids for any or all the advertised locations.

Minimum Storage Space Specification

  1. Easily accessible warehouse location.
  2. A fifty square meters (50m_) area demarcated and dedicated for pharmaceutical and health products.
  3. Clean and dry storage space maintained with ability to regulate temperature within the limits for pharmaceutical products.
  4. Pallet and rack systems with units in state of cleanliness and repair.
  5. Existing Safe pest control system with zero risk of contamination of materials and pharmaceutical products.
  6. Availability of stock movement record system.
  7. Evidence of invoicing, cash collection and remittance systems in place.
  8. Valid insurance cover for operations.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for consideration, proposal for executing storage of pharmaceuticals must demonstrate availability of the above in addition to providing the following details:

  1. Profile of the organization including organization’s certificate of incorporation, physical address, organogram of management structure, ownership (including Board membership), key contacts (telephone and email) and their profile.
  2. Certified true copy of Form CO7 – Details of Directors.
  3. Copy of current strategic plan and details of operating budget for 2010.
  4. Evidence of financial standing.
  5. Financial management systems (accounting, internal control, and audited financials).

Submission of Application/closing Date:

Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope, (with code PA010/11/0003 on top right hand corner) addressed to the Deputy Director Procurement and received in our Abuja office address below, on or before 5:00pm on the 14th of December, 2010.

  1. Late submissions will not be entertained.
  2. All costs incurred as a result of this tender and any subsequent request for information will be borne by the biding companies.
