Invitation to Tender

The National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) is a parastatal under the Federal Ministry of Health.

1.    In furtherance of the government’s commitment to address the challenge of the unacceptably high maternal and child mortality rates in Nigeria, the Federal Ministry of Health in conjunction with the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, using the Debt Relief Grant (DRG) is set to fast track the attainment of the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) 4 and 5, and has deployed midwives to the rural primary health care facilities and other ancillary activities for the successful implementation of the MSS scheme.

2.    In compliance with the Public Procurement Act 2007as regards procurement of goods, the NPHCDA invites interested and qualified bidders for the procurement of the following:

Project in 2010/4, Includes:
LOT/2010/4/1/MSS:    Supply of Maternal & Child Health Equipment.
LOT/2010/4/2/MSS:    Supply of Laboratory Equipment.
LOT/2010/4/3/MSS:    Supply of Essential Maternal Child Health (MCH) Drugs.
LOT/2010/4/4/MSS:    Printing of NHMIS Registers, Record /Log Books, Family Health Record Books. (MSS)
LOT/2010/4/5/MSS:    Supply of Drugs for Integrated Management of Childhood illness
LOT/2010/4/6/MSS:    Printing of MSS Monitoring Toots.
LOT/2010/4/7/MSS:    Printing of Training Modules for Integrated Management of Childhood Illness
LOT/2010/4/8/MSS:    Printing of IMCI Training Modules for Integrated Management of Childhood Illness
LOT/2010/4/9/MSS:    Printing of Posters for Primary Health Care Facilities
LOT/2010/4/10/MSS:    Supply of Laptop Computers.

3.    Collection of Bid Documents
All interested bidders can collect bid documents from The Procurement Unit, NATIONAL PRIMARY HEALTH CARE DEVELOPMENT AGENCY, PLOT 681/682 PORT-HARCOURT CRESCENT, OFF GIMBIYA STREET, AREA ELEVEN, GARKI ABUJA: Bidders are to enclose the sum of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00) in certified bank draft made payable to the National Primary Health Care Development Agency. (Please Write The Name Of Your Organization At The Back Of The Draft). Please note that acceptance of bank draft for bidding documents shall end by 12Noon on Wednesday 29th September, 2010.

4.    Submission of Bid Documents.
All bidders should submit their bids in sealed envelope clearly marked with the following details:

  • Relevant LOT NO.
  • Name of Company, Address, and Valid Contact Phone number and addressed to:

The Executive Director /CEO,
National Primary Health Care Development Agency,
Plot 681/682 Port-Harcourt Crescent, Off Gimbiya Street,
Area 11, Garki Abuja.

All completed sealed bids should be dropped In the Tender Box provided at the NPHCDA Procurement Unit, Annex Office Complex, Plot 1266. Ahmadu Bello Way. Garki Abuja.

Closing date and Time of submission of bid documents is 10.00am on Monday 9th October, 2010. Late Submission Will Not Be Accepted Under Any Circumstances.

5.     Opening of Bids
Opening of bids shall be carried out at exactly 11.00am on Monday 4th October, 2010, at the NPHCDA Headquarters Office Premises, Plot 681/682 Port- Harcourt Crescent, Off Gimbiya Street, Area 11, Garki Abuja in the presence of the general public and bidders.

Note:
1.    The NPHCOA reserves the right to reject any document it considers to be of doubtful authenticity.
2.    Late submission will not be entertained
3.    This notice shall not be construed to be a commitment on the part of the Agency to award any form of contract to any respondent nor shall it entitle any organization to claim any indemnity from the Agency,
