Invitation for Bids (IFB) for Procurement of Goods
The Federal Government of Nigeria has received a loan from the African Development Bank in various currencies to finance the cost of Oyo State Health System Development Project-II (Health IV). It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Procurement of underlisted goods.
The Oyo State Health System Development Project -II (Health IV) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of :-
Goods
Lot i. Medical Books
Lot ii. Models and Teaching Aids
Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedure specified in the African Development Bank Procurement Guidelines and open to all bidders from eligible source countries.

A complete set of Bidding Documents in English Language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of N10, 000.00 per lot. The method of payment will be by Bank draft payable to the Oyo State Health System Development Project – II. Upon request by the potential Bidder, the document can be sent to his address by courier or the potential Bidder may collect the document by hand at the project office of Oyo State HSDP – II.
Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 12.00noon on Wednesday 22nd September, 2010 and must be accompanied by a bid security as stated below:
