Invitation to Tender for the Supply of Various Goods and Utility Vehicle for Information Division and ASO Television Services
Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), through the FCT information Division and ASO Television Services has provisions in the FCT 2010 Statutory Budget and is hereby inviting competent and interested companies to submit Technical and Financial bids for the following projects:
Supplies under Information Division
Lot A: Supply of Office Equipments for Information Division
Scope of work
The scope of work comprises of but not limited to the following:
- Supply and install 5nr. 1 .5HP split unit Air conditioner.
- Supply and installation of accessories for internet connectivity and access connection to 23 laptops and 2 desktop computers including 48 ports switch, trucking pipes, cat 5 network cables, Rd45 connectors, clips, pattrest, face plate and network card at the Apo office.
- Supply 21 nr. Tablet pc, Tc2000 (Dual core2.2 GHz INTEL, 4BB RAM, 320GB HDD in built) and a standard laptop bag.
- Supply of 2Nr Digital photocopier.
- Supply of designer machine for designing purposes (1 5,000 resolution)
Lot B: Provision of One (1) Utility Vehicle for FCT Information Division
Supply Under ASO Television Services
Lot A: Supply of Four (4) Utility Vehicles for ASO Television Services
Pre-Qualification Requirements
Interested companies are to forward copies of the following documents and the originals to be made available for sighting during the tender opening.
- Evidence of registration with cooperate Affairs Commission (CAC) and Article of memorandum of association.
- Interested companies should have up to date returns with the CAC and be informed that due diligence could be conducted.
- Company’s Audited Account for the last three years from a chartered Accounting firm.
- Tax Clearance for the last three years, expiring this year, 2010.
- List of verifiable documentary evidence of similar job successfully executed within the last three years (copies of letter of contract award, completion certificates).
- Reference letter from a reputable bank/Bank statement for the last 12months.
- Sworn Affidavit in line the provision of part IV, section 16, sub section 6(e & f) of the public procurement Act, 2007.
- Letter of authority to FCT Administration to cross check the company’s account.
- Evidence of registration and remittance of contributory pension fund by the company as provided for in section 16, sub section 8(d) of the public procurement Act 2007.
Collection of Tender Documents:
Interested companies are to collect tender documents from the Deputy Director (Tender) Room 043 former public building department No 1, Kapital Street, area
11, Garki Abuja, upon the presentation of a payment of N10, 000.00 (Ten
Thousand Naira only) non refundable tender fee per project into the FCT Treasury Revenue Account at Fidelity Bank (Central area) Account no: 051503010000426.
Submission
The prequalification and financial bid document should each be sealed a labeled “Technical and Financial bids as appropriate” separately, and the separate envelops be put in another envelop that should also be sealed labeled as: “(Project Title)”. The financial bids should be submitted in three copies (One original and two other copies) and all pages are to be duly endorsed by the bidder. The document is to be dropped in the Tender Box in the office of the Deputy Director (Tenders), Room 043 (Former Public, Building Block), Area 11, Garki, Abuja on or before 4th October, 2010, by 10:00am. The Representatives of the bidding companies are invited to witness the opening of the tenders on the same day at Room G9 Archives and History Bureau No, 5 Peace Drive, Area 11, Garki Abuja by 12:00pm.
Successful companies could be requested to provide Performance whose value shall not be less than 10% of the contract sum before signing contract.
Note:
- Interested members of the general public, especially the Civil Society Organizations are invited to attend the opening exercise. They are to abide by the code of conduct for procurement observers issued by the Bureau of Public Procurement.
- Company’s representatives are to come with a letter of introduction indicating name, Rank and Sample Signature to the opening exercise.
- FCTA is not bound to accept the lowest or any other bid.
