Extension of Bid Submission Date

On Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Contractors for Construction of buildings, Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Works at the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency’s Project Sites

1.0            The Agency in The Guardian and Daily Trust Newspapers of March 14, 2013 placed advertisements inviting reputable and interested Contractors in Building, Civil, Mechanical/Electrical Works to submit documents for pre-qualification on numerous projects to be executed by the Agency at the Following locations:

1. NIMASA Institute of Maritime Studies, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, Niger State;
2. NIMASA Institute of Maritime Studies, Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island, BayeLsa State;
3. NIMASA Institute of Maritime Studies, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu State;
4. NIMASA Institute of Maritime Studies, University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos State;
5. Nigeria Maritime University, Okerenkoko, Delta State; and
6. NIMASA Science and Technical College, Okoloba, Delta State.

2.0     In the advertisement the deadline for submission of pre-qualification documents for management of the above mentioned facilities was fixed for April 26^th, 2013 at 12:00 noon, and opening of pre-qualification documents on same day at the Nigerian Maritime Resource Development Centre (NMRDC), Kirikiri, Lagos at 2:00 pm prompt.

3.0     In view of the extension, the new date for submission of pre-qualification documents is now 13^th May, 2013 at 12 Noon and opening of pre-qualification documents at NMRDC, Kirikiri, Lagos by 2.00 pm,
