Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Contractors to Tender for the Borno State Millennium Development Goals – Conditional Grants Scheme (MDGS – CGS) 2012 Projects to State and Local Governments

The Borno State Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) – Conditional Grants Scheme (CGS) Project Support Unit Office, wishes to invited interested and qualified contractors to submit their applications for pre-qualification in the execution of projects under the 2012 conditional grants scheme to state and local governments (LGAs). The LGAs include Mobbar, Gubio, Damboa, Chibok, Mafa and Dikwa.

Projects areas state tract:

1. Drilling of motorized boreholes at various locations in the state
   1. Motorized boreholes (North and Central Senatorial Districts)
   2. Drilling of free flow boreholes (North and Central)
   3. Motorized boreholes (South Senatorial Districts)

2.       Primary health care

a.       Construction of basic health centres (BHCs)

i.        Yazza BHC (Damboa LGA)

ii.       Hyera BHC (Hawul LGA)

iii.      Dala Malari BHC (Jere LGA)

b.       Construction of drainage at General Hospital, Ngoshe

c.       Supply of hospital equipments

d.       Supply of drugs

e.       Procurement of ambulances for PHCs

f.       Procurement of therapeutic food for mothers and children national supplement, delivery packs and anti-malaria drugs

Project areas LGA tracks:

Education

1- Construction of classrooms

2- Rehabilitation of classrooms

3- Supply of school and instructional materials Health

1- Construction of primary health centres (PHCs) and basic health centres (BHCs)

2- Rehabilitation of PHCs and BHCs

3- Procurement of drugs and medical equipment to PHCs and BHCs

Water and sanitation

1- Drilling of motorized and hand pump boreholes

2- Construction of VIP latrines

Pre-qualification requirements for state and LGA Track

1. Evidence of incorporation of company
2. Copy of memo and article of association (where applicable)
3. Evidence of registration with Borno State government as contractor
4. Evidence of similar jobs executed
5. VAT registration
6. Verification of address giving names of contact persons
7. Current tax clearance certificate
8. Financial capabilities/bankers references

Application must be in sealed envelope marked pre-qualification for MDG-CGS project addressed to:

All the prequalification documents are to be signed and submitted on or before 7^th May, 2013.

Note:

Only pre-qualified contractors will be invited to tender.
