Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria
Invitation to for Submission of Expression of Interest (EDI) in Respect of Procurement under 2009 IGR Budget.
- Introduction:
In compliance with the Public Procurement Act, 2007, the federal Government of Nigeria Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) intends to undertake the under listed projects under its 2010 financial year (IGR) budget. Consequently, the Agency wishes to invite interested companies to express interest in the following projects.

Lot1 Maintenance of physical assets
Lot 2 Supply of fuel/lubricants
Lot 3 Supply of mobile toilets
Lot 4 Supply of air field lighting spares
Lot 5 Supply of runway cables, power cables, reflective paints
heavy duty tyres, fire vehicles spares and generator spare
parts and heavy duty equipment
Lot 6 Bush clearing and landscaping at various airports
Lot 7 Purchase and supply of stationeries, printing of tickets, receipts,
security document etc.
Lot 8 Repair, Renewal and maintenance of furniture & equipment
Lot 9 Supply of uniforms and operational outfits
Lot 10 Supply of consumable items for Bird and wild life control
Lot 11 Purchase and supply of operational, fire and safety accessories
Lot 12 Supply and installation of communication and security equipment &
Accessories
Lot 13 Supply of Generators
Lot 14 Environmental impact assessment at various airports
Lot 15 Supply of air conditioners at various airports
Lot 16 Provision of Ecological survey of & airports
Lot 17 Supply and installation of computers
Lot 18 Procurement of water engineering consumables
Lot 19 Supply of heavy duty equipment – forklifts, tractor, slashed and gully emptier
- Eligibility/Requirements
- Evidence of Company Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
- Certified True Copy of memorandum and article of association with CO2 & CO7.
- Evidence of tax payments for the last three years (2007 – 2009).
- Copies of the audited account and financial statement of the company for the last three years.
- Verifiable evident e of similar works successfully completed and on-going (indicating per centre status) within the last three years.
- Evidence of fulfillment of obligations to pay pension.
- Value Added Tax Registration Certificate/evidence of remittance.
- Submission of Tender Documents
- The documents should be arranged in the order listed and each chapter separated by dividers.
- The document must be sealed in an envelope and the job reference number must be clearly written at the top left hand corner of the envelope.
- All documents must be submitted to the office of The General Manager (Procurement), FAAN Headquarters, Ikeja – Lagos. (Tel. 08033063503, 08054435214)
- Closing and Opening of Tender
Submission of all tender(s) shall close at exactly 23rd August, 2010, at 11:30 am prompt, while bids will be opened on the same day at 12 noon in the Commercial and Business Development Conference Room, FAAN Headquarters, Ikeja-Lagos.
- Important Information
- Interested companies must pay a non refundable processing fee of N50, 000.00 for each of the LOT they are interested in with a certified bank, draft to Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria.
- The FAAN reserves the right to verify the authenticity of any claims made on the documents submitted by companies.
- Failure to comply with the instruction and provide any required document (s) may result in dis-qualification.
- FAAN reserves the right to reject any or all the bid documents.
- Original of documents listed in item C above must be produced for sighting.
- Tender documents submitted late shall be rejected.
- Submission should be very clear on the areas of specialization and LOT(s) of interest.
- FAAN reserve the right to verity the company address/ location indicated in the bid document.
