Invitation for Pre-Qualification of contractors and consultants for year 2013 Procurement Activities
The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) Abuja, in compliance with the provisions of the Public Procurement Act 2007, wishes to invite interested and competent companies to submit documents for pre-qualification for the under-listed works, goods and services contained in the procurement activities of the Fund for the financial year, 2013.
Scope of Work
The scope of work shall consist of the following:
A-Works
A.1. Remodeling of the Boardroom and Executive
Lounges
A.2. Furnishing and Fitting of the Boardroom, Executive Lounges and Conference Hall
A. 3. Reconstruction of the Gate House
B- Goods
B. 1. Printing of Documents, Manuals, Office Stationery and Workshop Materials
B. 2. Supply of Office Materials, Stationery and Consumables
B. 3. Supply of Office Equipment, Furniture and Fittings
B. 4. Supply of Bandwidth, Anti-Virus and Software Development
B. 5. Supply off ICT Equipment Consumables
B. 6. Procurement and installation of Biometric Equipment and Security Equipment
B. 7. Supply of AGO (Diesel)
B. 8. Supply of Project Monitoring Vehicles
B. 9. Supply of Tyres and Tubes
C-Services
C. 1. Project Management Consultancy (Architects, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Educational Equipment, ICT, Impact Assessment)
C.2. Consultancy (Financial Monitoring, Human Resource Management, Public Relations and Media, Tax)
C. 3. Legal Services
C. 4. Educational Research and Programme Development Services
C. 5. Event Management
C. 6. Catering Services
C. 7. Facility Management
C. 8. Valuers & Auctioneers

Technical Pre-Qualification Requirements
1. Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
2. Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years (2010, 2011 and 2012)
3. Evidence of Compliance with National Pension Commission (PENCOM) Requirements on Contribution
4. Evidence of VAT Registration and Remittance
5. Evidence of Payment of Training Contributions to industrial Training Fund (ITF)
6. Verifiable documentary evidences of similar jobs that had been successfully executed with in the last three (3) years
7. Evidence of ownership or lease of workshop and/or equipment
8. Audited Accounts for the last three (3) successive years prepared (and stamped) by a Chartered Accounting firm
9. Company Profile and Technical Qualification of key personnel.
10. Current Bank Reference and statement of account of the company for the last 12 months.
11. Firms applying to be pre-qualified should accompany their submission with a disclosure as to whether any officer of TETFund is a former or present Director, Share holder or has any pecuniary interest in the company.
12. Evidence of Registration of the Firm with Relevant Professional Bodies, where applicable.
Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents:
The Pre-qualification documents shall be submitted in sealed envelope and clearly labeled at the top left hand corner “Pre-qualification documents for (insert (works), (Goods) or (Services) )” and quoting the appropriate item number as applicable and addressed to:

Pre-qualification documents in the sealed envelope shall be deposited in Tenders Box located at the Procurement Division, Ground Floor, TETFund Head Office, 6 Zambezi Crescent, Off Aguiyi Ironsi Street, Maitama, Abuja between 10.00am to 4.00pm from 9th April 2013 to 8th May 2013.
Closing Date and Opening of Bids:
The closing date for submission of pre-qualification documents is Wednesday, 8th May 2013 by 4:00pm: The documents received shall be opened on Thursday 9th May 2013 at 10.00am at the Auditorium Hall of the Nigeria National Merit House, Aguiyi Ironsi Street, Maitama, Abuja.
All Bidder and /or their Representative, Relevant Professional Bodies and NGO are invited to witness the Public Opening of Bids.
Only pre-qualified Bidders would be invited to submit financial bids in due course.
Please Note that:
1. Interested companies/ contractors wishing to bid for more than one item must submit separate pre-qualification for reach item.
2. TETFund will not enter into correspondence with any unsuccessful bidder.
3. Any bidder that submits fake documents shall be out rightly disqualified and may be reported to relevant authority
4. The Fund reserves the right to cancel the procurement proceedings in the public interest without incurring any liability to the bidders.
5. This advertisement shall not be construed to be a commitment on the part of TETFund nor shall it entail any bidder to make any claim(s) whatsoever and/or seek any indemnity from TETFund by Virtue of such bidder having responded to this advertisement.
